Hoka Mafate Speed 4

I had a pair of the Hoka Evo Mafate’s which I liked and were looking a bit battered, so thought I would try one of the Mafate upgrades.

As soon as I put the Mafate Speed 4 on I felt how comfortable they were, in fact, even more comfortable than my Hoka Clifton road shoes! I’m normally not concerned about the weight of my shoes, but this shoe still feels light on the trails!

These shoes have been worn both on trails and the fells and I can honestly say there a great shoe to wear with decent grip too! I have used the Mafate Speed 4 for some trail runs and races and even on the road there are still very springy. More recently, I have chosen to wear these shoes over my fell shoes for some shorter runs and have been really impressed with the performance.

Definitely worthwhile getting advice from Matt and the team on your next trail shoes! These shoes have been a great addition so far.
