We asked the MyRaceKit team to pick their top products of 2024, here are Matt’s choices.
My go to shoe for most of my runs is now the Adidas Adistar BYD. With the 2 different types of cushioning, 1 soft 1 responsive, and the carbon infused plate for a bit of added stability and pop, I find this shoe works for most kind of road runs.
I’ve now done over 250 miles in them, including a 30 mile run, if anything they feel better now than the 1st few runs. I’m now waiting for them to come back in stock so I can get another pair.
Socks can be tricky and finding the right kind can take time. I’ve been wearing Injinji for the last few years with no issues so I was very reluctant to change.
When we got the BV Sport socks in with their funky designs I gave them a go.5 months later and I’ve been using them for all my runs and during the day with absolutely no issue. The extra compression on the trail designs feel really good. I am looking forward to more fancy designs coming out soon.
I’ve been super happy with my Coros watch. Having worn it for running and daily use I can’t see myself going back to another brand. One of the main positives of my Coros is the battery life, constantly getting over 30 days of use out of it.
As a shop it’s tricky stocking electrical items as the margins are very small, if anything, but after my experience with Coros I really wanted to get them in store.
They are constantly looking at ways to improve the performance of the watch and send updates every couple of months. Pop in and take a look, we have a couple of demo watches for you to have a play with.
