We have been involved with the Rother Valley Relays for the last few years, since the event started. This was the first year we were able to attend with our gazebo.
The event is a relay for 3 or 4 laps of a 5k route round the Rother Valley lakes. It is a flat and fast course, as long as the wind isn’t in your face!
It was great to see so many runners from loads of different local clubs all racing and encouraging each other.
We enjoyed chatting to lots of runners and spectators, and seeing the runners giving it their all for their team and club. There were some amazing runs and quite a few PBs on the night.
If you are a member of a club but haven’t given the relays a go, this event is a nice one to take part in.
